The Penguin Tetra fish are pale to golden in colour and have a black vertical stripe that extends down the bottom half of the tail giving an appearance similar to a penguin. They have a ‘head-up’ swimming position that gives them a point of interest as well as endowing them with a certain amount of character.
They are best kept in shoals of at least 6 but preferably far more. Avoid keeping these with aggressive fish species and prove plenty of cover such a plants, rocks, caves and hiding places in the case they become spooked.
Diet - Their diet consists of flake food swell as freeze-dried.
Temperature - 70 - 82 Fahrenheit
