The Red Eye Tetra has a bright silver body accented by a white edge black basil half of the tail and a thin red circle around its eye. They are a schooling fish and like to be kept in groups of 5 or more, The more you have the happier they are.
It is important to mimic their natural enivorment so Red Eye Tetras need plently of plants and hiding spots aswell as an open area for swimming. The light should be subdued and the best way to do this is to use a few floating plants depending on the size of your tank so it can be a little darker for your tetras.
Diet - These are non fussy eaters and can survive on Flake food, frozen food and feeze-dried food.
Temperature - 70 - 82 Fahrenheit
